Pink Petals Book Tong (bookmark)

These types of bookmarks are all the rage in the States, and I totally understand why after making a number of them. The materials used, be it ribbon or simply tigertail wire does not damage the precious book, and it adds sweet and delicate decorations to a much read book. 

 For this book tong, I used pink organza ribbon, with matching beads and a focal ceramic pink flowered bead at one end. This one is about 8-9" long without the beads. It fits in my bible :) 

 These are so handy, and can mean such a personal gift, especially for that person who has it all, or who is just starting to read. Imagine, whenever they open the book, they will see this Tong, and think of you, who gave it to them!
